Country Artist Faith Hill comes to Pac Amp

PHOTOS AND STORY BY RALPH PALUMBO

JULY 24, 2010

Selling over 30 million records worldwide Faith Hill steps out in front of an admiring crowd at Pac Amp on July 24 and breaks into "If My Heart Had Wings." With great connection to her audience and undeniable chemistry with her band all eyes were fixed on the beautiful singer as she strutted back and fourth across the stage.

Hill covered Aretha Franklin's "Dr. Feelgood," Simon and Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Water" and one of my personal favorites Janis Joplin's "Piece of My Heart" which turned into the audience participation song of the evening.

With opening act Jeanette McCurdy a no show and a late start from Hill which shortened her performance there were some disappointments but when the band broke into Hill's smash hit "Breathe" all was cured.

The singer showed much love and appreciation for her fans by blowing kisses with a huge smile before leaving the stage. Faith Hill is a class act and always will be.
